Dr. Alan Wu as part of GlyCardial’s Advisory Board.

GlyCardial Diagnostics is honoured to announce the incorporation of Dr. Alan Wu as a member of the Advisory Board of the company.

Dr. Alan Wu has been a clinical chemistry laboratory director for 40 years. His laboratory expertise has centered around cardiac markers and has published hundreds of papers on creatine kinase, myoglobin cardiac troponin, B-type natriuretic peptide, fatty acid binding protein, C-reactive protein, B-type natriuretic peptide, soluble ST-2, galectin-3, copeptin, adrenomedullin, placental growth factor, and others. He is chair of the AACC Biomarkers of Acute Cardiovascular Diseases. He participated in standardization committees for CK-MB and cardiac troponin. He has led or participated in three iterations of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory Medicine Practice Guidelines on Cardiac Markers.

Due to his extensive expertise in the standardization and implementation of cardiac markers he will be key in the upcoming stages of the company.
